English Translation of Al-Quran
[26].Surah Ash-Shuara [The Poets]
Ayat 39. And it was said to the people: "Are you (too) going to assemble?
Ayat 40. "That we may follow the sorcerers [who were on Firaun's (Pharaoh) religion of disbelief] if they are the winners."
Ayat 41. So when the sorcerers arrived, they said to Firaun (Pharaoh): "Will there surely be a reward for us if we are the winners?"
Ayat 42. He said: "Yes, and you shall then verily be of those brought near (to myself)."
Ayat 43. Musa PBUH (Moses) said to them: "Throw what you are going to throw!"
Ayat 44. So they threw their ropes and their sticks, and said: "By the might of Firaun (Pharaoh), it is we who will certainly win!"
Tafseer of Ayat 39. And the people were told: "Are ye (now) assembled? "That we may follow the sorcerers (in religion) if they win?" The people are to come and witness the triumph of the State religion, so that they may become the more obedient to Pharaoh and more compliant with the demands of the priests. The State religion in duded magic and the worship of Pharaoh. So when the sorcerers arrived, they said to Pharaoh: "Of course - shall we have a (suitable) reward if we win? There was no such thing as pure loyalty to an exploiting ruler like this Pharaoh. The sorcerers, who were probably also priests, were venal, and they hoped to establish their own hold on both king and people by further enrichment of themselves and their order. He said: "Yea, (and more),- for ye shall in that case be (raised to posts) nearest (to my person)." Moses PBUH said to them: "Throw ye - that which ye are about to throw!" The euphemism implies a taunt, as if Moses had said: "I know about your tricks! You pretend to throw ropes and rods, and make people believe they are snakes. But now come on!" So they threw their ropes and their rods, and said: "By the might of Pharaoh, it is we who will certainly win!" Though Pharaoh claimed to be a god, it is not likely that those nearest to him-his priests and sorcerers-believed such a thing! But it was a game of mutual pretence before the world. And so they appeal to his "divine" power.
English Translation of Hadith
Hazrat Saeed Al-Khudri (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah 
[SAWW](PBUH) said, "Whoever amongst you sees an evil, he must change it with his hand; if he is unable to do so, then with his tongue; and if he is unable to do so, then with his heart; and that is the weakest form of Faith".
[Muslim Book 01,Chapter 21, Hadith # 80]
Lesson : This Hadith contains a very important prescription to prevent the Muslim society from all things which are forbidden in Islam. So long as Muslims adhered to it and ceaselessly and fearlessly performed their obligation of enjoining the right and forbidding the wrong, their society was largely safe from many evils and sins.
