Answer:

It only needs to be designed to withstand the weight of the water!

Why ??

The Incredible Magdeburg Water Bridge in Germany The Magdeburg Water Bridge is a navigable aqueduct in Germany that connects the Elbe-Havel Canal to the Mittelland Canal ,

and allows ships to cross over the Elbe River At 918 meters,

it is the longest navigable aqueduct in the world.
The Elbe-Havel and Mittelland canals had previously met near Magdeburg but on opposite sides of the Elbe . Ships moving between the two had to make a 12-kilometer detour,

descending from the Mittelland Canal through the Rothensee boat lift into the Elbe, then sailing downstream on the river,

before entering the Elbe-Havel Canal through Niegripp lock.

Low water levels in the Elbe often prevented fully laden canal barges from making this crossing,

requiring time-consuming off-loading of cargo.

Construction of the water link was started as early as in the 1930s but due to the World War 2 and subsequent division of Germany the work remained suspended till 1997.

The aqueduct was finally completed and opened to the public in 2003.

جہاد اکبر والی روایت......... حقیقت کیا ہے؟؟؟؟؟؟
 
جس حدیث کہ ذریعے آج کل جہاد سی روکا جاتا ہے اپ وہ ملاحظہ فرمائیں .... اس حدیث میں نفس کے جہاد کو تیسرے درجے میں کہا گیا ہے .. لکن اس کی تشریح میں اس کو جہاد اکبر کہا گیا ہے..... لکن حدیث میں کہیں نفس کے جہاد کو جہاد اکبر نہیں کہا گیا ہے..........
 
    آپ خود سوچئے     وہ جہاد، جس میں نبی کریم صلی الله علیھ وسلم ک دانت مبارک شہید ہوے، جس میں آپ صلی الله علیھ وسلم کا خون گرا وہ کیسے اصغر جہاد ہو سکتا ہے.....   جس میں حضرت حمزہ رضی الله عنہ کے سترہ ٹکڑے کردے وہ کیسے اصغر جہاد ہو سکتا ہے.............  جس کے خاطر آپ صلی الله علیھ وسلم بار بار میدان جنگ میں موت کے منہ میں جا کر کھرے ھوے وہ کیسے اصغر جہاد ہو سکتا ہے.............  جس کے لئے قرآن میں کم و بیش ٤٥٠ آیات اتری وہ کیسے اصغر جہاد ہو سکتا ہے..............  جس جہاد میں حضرت جبریل علیھ السلام اترے وہ کیسے اصغر جہاد ہو سکتا ہے................  سوچئے ........سوچئے ........سوچئے ........کیا قرآن سی جہاد کی آیات نکال لی جایں تو وہ مکمّل رہ سکتا ہے؟؟؟؟؟   تو مومن کی زندگی سے جہاد (قتال فی سبیل الله) نکال لیا جاۓ تو وہ کیسے مومن ہو سکتا ہے ؟؟؟؟؟؟؟؟؟؟؟  آخر میں میں آپ کے سامنے وہ حدیث پیش کر رہا ہوں....  اب ذرا واضح طور پر یہ حدیث بمع تشریح سمجھیے.......... اس میں جہاد (قتال فی سبیل الله) کے بعد جہاد بنفس کو اکبر کہا گیا ہے وما علینا الالبلاغ ...............  ======================================================================================حدیث ========================================================================================وعن أبي ذر قال : سألت النبي صلى الله عليه و سلم : أي العمل أفضل ؟ قال : " إيمان بالله وجهاد في سبيله " قال : قلت : فأي الرقاب أفضل ؟ قال : " أغلاها ثمنا وأنفسها عند أهلها " . قلت : فإن لم أفعل ؟ قال : " تعين صانعا أو تصنع لأخرق " . قلت : فإن لم أفعل ؟ قال : " تدع الناس من الشر فإنها صدقة تصدق بها على نفسك " اور حضرت ابوذر کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے رسول کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے پوچھا کہ کونسا عمل بہتر ہے ؟ تو آنحضرت صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ " اللہ پر ایمان لانا اور اس کی راہ میں جہاد کرنا " ابوذر کہتے ہیں کہ پھر میں نے عرض کیا " کونسا بردہ آزاد کرنا بہتر ہے ؟ " آنحضرت صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا " جو گراں قیمت ہو اور اپنے مالک کو بہت پیارا ہو " میں نے عرض کیا کہ " اگر ایسا نہ کر سکوں ؟ ( یعنی از راہ کسل نہیں بلکہ از راہ عجز و عدم استطاعت ایسا غلام آزاد نہ کر سکوں ؟ ) " آنحضرت صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا " کام کرنے والے کی  مدد کرو یا جو شخص کسی چیز کو بنانا نہ جانتا ہو اس کی وہ چیز بنا دو " میں نے عرض کیا " اگر میں یہ ( بھی ) نہ کر سکوں ( تو کیا کروں ؟ ) آنحضرت صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا " لوگوں کو برائی پہنچانے سے اجتناب کرو یاد رکھو یہ ایک اچھی خصلت ہے جس کے ذریعہ تم اپنے نفس کے ساتھ بھلائی کرتے ہو ۔ "  ( بخاری ومسلم )   مشکوۃ شریف:جلد سوم:حدیث نمبر 570        تشریح :    ایمان کا بہتر ہونا تو بالکل بدیہی بات ہے کہ خیر و بھلائی کی بنیاد ہی ایمان ہے ، اگر ایمان کی روشنی موجود نہ ہو تو پھر کوئی بھی عمل مقبول نہیں ہوتا خواہ وہ کتنا ہی اہم ہو اور کتنا ہی افضل کیوں نہ ہو ! اور جہاد اس اعتبار سے بہتر عمل ہے کہ وہ دین کی تقویت اور مسلمانوں کی برتری و عظمت اور غلبہ کا باعث ہوتا ہے ۔   جہاں تک نماز روزہ کا تعلق ہے وہ تو دوسری حیثیات اور دوسری وجوہ کی بناء پر ( ایک دوسرے ) عمل سے برتر اور بہتر ہیں لہٰذا یہاں جہاد کو نماز و روزہ پر فوقیت دینا مراد نہیں ہے ۔ یا پھر یہ کہ اس موقع پر " جہاد " سے مراد مطلق " مشقت برداشت کرنا " ہے جس کا تعلق جہاد سے بھی ہے اور دوسری طاعات و عبادات سے بھی ، چنانچہ مامورات پر عمل کرنے اور منہیات سے بچنے کی نفسانی مشقت اور ریاضت کو " جہاد اکبر " فرمایا گیا ہے اس صورت میں آنحضرت صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے مذکورہ بالا جواب کا حاصل یہ ہوگا کہ سب سے بہتر عمل ، ایمان لانا اور ایمان کے  تقاضوں پر عمل کرنا ہے جیسا کہ فرمایا گیا ہے حدیث (قل اٰمنت باللہ ثم استقم) کام کرنے والے کی مدد کرو میں " کام سے " مراد ہر وہ چیز ہے جو انسان کے معاش کا ذریعہ ہو خواہ وہ صنعت و کاریگری ہو یا تجارت ہو ۔ اس کا حاصل یہ ہے کہ جو شخص اپنے کسی پیشہ و کسب میں لگا ہوا ہو اور اس کا وہ پیشہ و کسب اس کی اور اس کے اہل و عیال کی ضروریات کو پورا نہ کرتا ہو وہ شخص اپنے ضعف و مجبوری کی وجہ سے اس کسب و پیشہ کو پوری طرح انجام نہ دے سکتا ہو تو تم اس شخص کی مدد کرو ! اسی طرح " جو شخص کسی چیز کو بنانا نہ جانتا ہو الخ " کا مطلب بھی یہ ہے کہ اگر کوئی شخص اپنی کسی مجبوری کی  وجہ سے اپنے پیشے کے کام کو نہ کر سکتا ہو تو تم اس کا کام کر دو تاکہ وہ تمہارے سہارے اپنی ضروریات زندگی کو پورا کر سکے ۔   " لوگوں کو برائی پہنچانے سے اجتناب کرو " کا مطلب یہ ہے کہ کسی کو برے کام میں مبتلا نہ کرو کسی کو اپنی زبان اور اپنے ہاتھ سے ایذاء نہ پہنچاؤ اور نہ کسی کو کسی بھی قسم کا نقصان پہنچاؤ کیونکہ لوگوں کو برائی پہنچانے سے اجتناب کرنا بھی خیر و بھلائی ہے خصوصًا ایسی صورت میں جب کہ برائی ( یعنی کسی کو ایذاء ونقصان ) پہنچانے پر قدرت بھی حاصل ہو ۔   مراز خیر تو امید نیست شرمرساں   اس موقع پر عبارت کے ظاہری اسلوب کا تقاضہ یہ تھا کہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم یوں فرماتے کہ " یہ ایک اچھی خصلت ہے جس کے ذریعہ تم لوگوں کے ساتھ بھلائی کرتے ہو " لیکن چونکہ لوگوں کے ساتھ بھلائی کرنا درحقیقت اپنے نفس کے ساتھ بھلائی کرنا ہے بایں طور کے اس بھلائی کے مختلف فوائد اسے حاصل ہوتے ہیں اس لئے آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے یہ فرمایا کہ " جس کے ذریعہ تم اپنے نفس کے ساتھ بھلائی کرتے ہو ۔ "
