AOA Dear Fellows,

Today CS 507 Paper was very lengthy as I expected

MCQ were easy but rare from past papers.

Mostly focused was on IDS, Web Security, Model of IS Like Spiral ETC,

Long questions were 4 of 5 mks each, 4 of 3 mks each and 2 of 2 mks each

Total 52 questions

Long Questions were

1.What should be the qualities and traits of an IT auditor? 5 mks

A2. machine producing firm has facing following problems, suggest solutions

Data Security

Integration of departments

Cost Control

Information System

Inventory management

3. Firewall is the primary method to avoid unauthorized intrusion? Do you agree

4. Describe six business objectives of information system?

5. Evaluation of Spiral Model

6. What are the limitation while applying e-commerce to oil industry?

7. Characteristic of System

8. How you can expand your business globally?

9. What are the technical aspect while producing software?

10.ERP software is being used world wide in the business these days. What should the ERP do to avoid security risk and unauthorized intrusion?

14. Answer all questions. Ensure that you plan your time well during the examination.

15. Before you leave home ensure you have all necessary stationery—pencils, erasers, sharpener, and most importantly your exam slip.

16. Don't waste time. If you get stuck on a question because it seems difficult or confusing, move on to the next and return to the tough questions after.

17. Use extra time to review your solutions.

18. Most importantly, remain positive.

If you are talking about schools then to improve the system just remove the final exams and rank system.

Let's have test every 15 days for each subject. It could be a small test of 30 minutes or less on a small topic and the students should be graded as A, B, C or D and not first rank second rank etc.

Sum of all the test scores is your final score.

Dear friends exams are no more than to know how to attempt, so be accurate to attempt your answers, read and understand the questiion and than made your mind to answer. Try tothe point which will save your time to think more. Some solution is mostly hidden in the question as well it is up to you that how you percieve it.
