Newsfeed feature on the Dashboard

Your Freelancer.com Dashboard has been given a makeover and now sports a streamlined newsfeed. Get all of your project updates and Freelancer.com news in real time, and take action on them right from the feed. We'll keep track of the important updates for you on a separate tab, and you can even star events to come back to later.

The newsfeed is still in BETA, but we've gotten great feedback so far and are excited about where we can take this feature. To send your own feedback, drop us a line at beta@freelancer.com. Keep your eye out for more improvements coming soon!

Keep tabs on your hours with Freelancer TimeTracker ®

Have you ever wondered exactly how many hours your Freelancer has worked on your project? Have you ever worried that you wouldn't be able to get paid for the extra hours you worked but couldn't prove you'd put in? Well, the answer to both these questions has arrived.

We're running a new feature for hourly projects that allows Freelancers to log in and capture screenshots of their work progress. Click on the TimeTracker button on your project page to download the AccuTimeCard app. It tracks the hours logged according to specific projects and creates invoices to send to employers.

This feature is still in BETA, so let us know what you think of it by sending an email to timetracker@freelancer.com, and be on the lookout for expanded and improved functionality!

This time of year can be busy for a lot of Freelancer members - organising celebrations and preparing for the new year. It's important to remember to finish your ongoing projects before the year's end so you have a great start to 2013. Also, for a lot of employers December is the end of their financial year, so you should ensure that work has been finalised and the appropriate payments made.
