Dear Brothers & Sisters

Assalaamu Alaikkum wa Rahmathullaahi wa Barakaathu hu

Nearly 20 countries, ISNA  (Islamic Society of North America) and

 

the members of Hijri Committee started Ramdhaan

fasting from Tuesday (9th July). Alhumdulillah !!!

India (except Kerala State), Pakistan, New Zealand and Fiji Islands will start 

fasting  from Thursday (11th July).  Saudi Arabia and the rest in the world have 

started on Wednesday (10th July).

So, 1st Ramdhaan fell on Tuesday, Wednesday and  will fall on Thursday too !!!! 

3 week-days having single date !!!

No scholar nor Muslim Astronomer is voicing against this mockery of Islam.

Almighty Allah certified Islam as Perfect & Complete and no muslim has any 

doubt on this Truth.

But, Alas !!! Majority of Muslims think that Islam has not prescribed a perfect 

dating system.  Even Scholars and Astronomers too subscribe to such falsehood !!!

No where in the world a date will span 3 week-days  !!! Those who believe that there

is nothing wrong in "three week-days having one date" are the real enemies of Islam.

They are the mockers of Islam.  The blasphemy committed by those who do not

find fault in "three week-days having 1 date" is much more severe and damaging than 

the cartoons and films made by the enemies of Islam.  NAUDUBILLAH !!!

As per Noble Quran and authentic hadeeth, there can be only ONE Calendar which 

shows dates tallying with moon-phases as directed by verse 2:189.

==  Verse 9:36 says that in the Book of Allah, there is only ONE calendar.

==   Authentic hadeeth which says that when Ramdhaan starts the gates of Paradise 

are opened and the gates of Hell are closed and devils are chained, also

teaches that Islam advocates only ONE calendar.

==  Lailathul Qadr falling on single odd date also teaches that Islam advocates 

only ONE calendar.

Now, it is clear that only one group among the three groups has started the Ramdhaan

on the correct day.

Let us analyse. 

1)  We, Hijri Committee counted 30 days of Sha'baan from Sunday (9th June) 

to Monday (8th July).  We also saw "al urjoonal qadeem" on Sunday Morning

confirming that Monday was the Day of Conjunction (last day of the month).

Hence started the month of Ramdhaan on Tuesday and fasted from that dawn.

2) At Makkah, the moon-set was about 1 minute after sun-set and the

hilaal was born much before their cut-off time of 15:00 hrs on Monday.

But, Saudi Arabia did not start the fasting on Tuesday. 

Today (Wednesday) the moon will set at Makkah around Isha time confirming that 

today's  date is actually 2 and not 1 as wrongly announced by Saudi Arabia.

3)  For those who start the month on Thursday too can clearly see the moon 

setting around Isha time confirming that two days of fasting is over by the 

time they start Ramdhaan !!!.

 

4)  The Full Moon falls on Monday (22nd July)  which is actually 14th day 

of Ramdhaan. For the first group, the date will be 14th on Monday (22 July).

For Saudi Arabia and for those who started fasting on Wednesday (10th July)

the Full Moon falls on 13th and for those who start fasting on Thursday (11 July)

the Full Moon falls on 12th day of the month !!!!!!

The moon setting on Wednesday(10th July) at around Isha and Full moon falling

on 13th confirm that Saudi Arabia and those who started Ramdhaan with them have

committed an error.

We hereby  request the Saudi authorities to ponder on the points we have 

mentioned and correct the dates of Ramdhan and to direct all those who have

missed the fast of 1st day (Tuesday) to repent and fast on another day after Eid.

Almighty Allah is Most Merciful !!

We hereby request all  those who are starting the fast only on Thursday too to repent

and fast for two days after Eidul Fitre. Almighty Allah is Most Merciful !!

In this context, we would like to state that according to nearly 40 years

of research it is found that the Universal Day in which Conjunction took place

was the last day of the lunar month.  Astronomers too will  agree with this

conclusion.

We request all concerned  to consider the Universal Day in which

conjunction takes place as the Last Day of the

month and to start the new month on the following Universal Day, from Fajre,

irrespective of timings of Conjunction and/or the sunset-moonset difference

at Makkah or else where, to have ONE Calendar as directed in 2:189. Such

a calendar can be calibrated/tabulated for any number of years, backwards 

as well as forwards.

Let us follow  True Islam and let us not  commit mistakes repeatedly, year after year !!

May Almighty Allah forgive all our sins, errors and faults and may He, the Almighty 

provide all of us with a place in Jannathul Firdouse. Aameen
