    well i think the boundary encapsulates the system thats why it is also called System Boundary. It represents the scope of your system. You can also say that it defines the limits of the system. Anything within the boundary is in scope of environment and represents the functionality within the system and anything which is outside the boundary is out of scope.


   and as far as i remember there are three types of relations in classes 

1. Association represented by a line
2. Aggregation represented by an empty arrow head
3. composition represented by a filled arrow head
