Yadeen bhi kitni azeez hoti hain

Har shakhs k paas us ki achi aur buri yadeen hoti hain

Woh na chahtey huwey bhi un yadoon main kho jata hay

Un main kuch haseen khubsurat hoti hain

Aur kuch asi bhi hoti hain jin ko bhulane se dil dukhta hay

Ham jantey huwey bhi un se kuch hasel naheen hota

Aur phir maze k in bikhrey huwey phoulon ko ham chun naheen saktey

Phir bhi ham pourani bateen naheen bhultey

un ko bar bar yaad kartey hain

Bahz oqaat to ham apni yadoon ki badolat hi apni

Baqaya zindagi guzaar detey hain

Aur phir yadeen to hamara kimti sarmaya hain

Jo ham se koi naheen cheen sakta
